SANAD MENA EdTech Insight

About

A desk, not a newswire

SANAD (سند, "support" or "document") tracks education technology across the Middle East and North Africa: who is building, who is funding, and what the ministries are about to change.

Why this exists

The region's EdTech market is covered in fragments. A funding round shows up in one outlet, a ministry tender in another, and a school procurement change nowhere at all. Anyone trying to make a decision — invest, enter, partner, buy — spends weeks reassembling a picture that should already exist. SANAD is that picture, kept current.

How we work

  • Sourced. Every entry in the database carries its sources and the date it was last verified.
  • Regional. Twenty markets, covered in their own context rather than as a footnote to the Gulf.
  • Plainly stated. When a number is an estimate, we say so and show the method.

How it is funded

Reader subscriptions and commissioned research. We do not take placement fees, and companies cannot pay to appear in or disappear from the database.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, write to hello@sanad.institute. Corrections are made openly and the entry's verification date is reset.
